The 3rd Annual Porch Light Mental Wellness Society Gala is being held to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
Through an evening of celebration featuring a dance, live and silent auction, and an outstanding keynote speaker. This event aims to raise funds to help continue to offer free counselling sessions for those in rural communities within Alberta.
We believe that mental wellness and resilience are essential to keeping our rural towns and activities alive. Through this gala we aim to raise awareness, as well as financial aid, and bring together like-minded agricultural people from Alberta.

Brett Gardiner strongly advocates for mental health and wellness, having become one of the most sought-after speakers and consultants in mental performance and motivation. He speaks through his own experiences working to inspire and educate others to help them live their
very best life.
From the generous donations made during our fundraiser, we raised $20,000 in support of AgKnow, an Alberta Farm Mental Health Network. AgKnow can continue with their much-needed program of free therapy sessions for those in the agricultural community.

"My hope is by spreading seeds of love, light and laughter, I can help brighten another’s day and lift hearts and spirits in our rural communities and across the agriculture industry."
-Lesley Kelly
From continuous generosity we raised $15,000 for the Do More Agriculture Foundation co-founded by Lesley whose mission is to break barriers and create a culture where all producers are encouraged, empowered and supported to take care of their mental well-being. AND $10,000 to AgKnow to continue providing free therapy sessions.
